Jobbik hands over Wage Union initiative to trade unions

Hungary’s Parliament building hosted a three-hour trade union conference on Friday: nearly fifty members of twenty-three trade unions accepted Jobbik’s invitation for a meeting to discuss the European Citizens’ Initiative for a Wage Union. Poland’s Solidarity80 believes western europe will take notice of wage union initiative

It will be difficult to promote the wage union concept in the EU’s bureaucracy, but Western European trade unions and workers’ associations may as well support it.
